Cookie policy
This page lists every cookie this site can set: what each one is for, who sets it, and how long it lasts. Nothing beyond the essentials runs until you allow it, and you can change your mind at any time.

Essential
Essential cookies
Always on. Without these the site cannot honour the choices you make on it.
There is exactly one: the cookie that records your cookie choices. Without it we would have to ask you again on every page.
Analytics
Analytics cookies
Show us how the site gets used, which pages help people and which lose them.
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4. It counts visits and page views and shows us how people move through the site. If you refuse analytics, it does not run at all.
Google Tag Manager, which loads our measurement tools, sets no cookies of its own.
Session recording
Session recording cookies
Record a replay of your visit, so we can watch back how the site behaved.
With your consent we use Microsoft Clarity. This is session recording, not just counting: it captures a replay of your visit, the pages you viewed, how far you scrolled, and where you clicked or tapped, so we can see where the site is unclear. That is a different level of detail from analytics, which is why it has its own switch.
Recordings are linked to a random identifier, not to your name, and text you type into the enquiry form is masked in Clarity before it is stored.
These cookies are set once you allow session recording, and not before.
Marketing
Marketing cookies
Not in use yet. We run no advertising cookies on this site today.
We are not currently advertising, so nothing in this category is set, whatever you choose. The table below is what we would use when we do start: tools from Google, Meta and LinkedIn that measure whether our adverts lead to enquiries. We are listing them in advance so the choice you make now still means something later, and none of them would load unless you allow marketing cookies.
If this changes, this page is updated first and everyone is asked again before anything is set.
Transfers
Where the data goes
All five of the tools named on this page, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Clarity, involve transfers of personal data to the United States, because Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft process data on their own infrastructure there.
Those transfers rely on each provider's applicable UK safeguards, including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual safeguards. Each provider's own privacy documentation describes its arrangements in detail.
Your choices
Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the Cookie choices link in the footer of any page, or the button at the top of this one. Turning a category off takes effect immediately: the page reloads and those cookies are no longer used.
Your choice is stored for six months, then we ask again. If we add or remove a tool, this page is updated and everyone is asked afresh. Withdrawing consent stops any further processing that relied on it, but it does not undo processing that already took place. How we handle the personal data you submit through the enquiry form is covered by our privacy policy.
